UVM Extension's Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs) and food safety programs have moved from the Center to other locations within Vermont. for Vermont produce growers.

If you are considering becoming GAPs Certified, or just want to improve your food safety practices, Produce Safety Specialist Rachel Schattman (802-651-8343 ext. 509 or rachel.schattman@uvm.edu) can help you assess your farm's food safety needs, develop a food safety plan, and prepare for a GAPs audit if you decide to pursue that certification.
