Visiting Students

Each summer, Summer University welcomes visiting college students to the University of Vermont. We offer courses and programs to help students make progress on their degrees, focus on one demanding course at a time or take courses with nationally recognized UVM faculty, all while experiencing nature's playground of the Burlington, Vermont area.

Summer University

• Short courses and intensives – gain 3 credits in one week, including international travel opportunities, leaving plenty of summer for recreation and employment.
• Four semester choices; 2-week May Session, 5-week June Session, 5-week July Session and August Online.
• Courses in UVM's areas of expertise, including Medicine and Health, Sciences, Education and Liberal Arts. Our quality credits ease the transfer credit process to your home institution.
• Proximity to the airport, Lake Champlain and the Green and Adirondack Mountains. Summer is one of the greatest seasons to enjoy Vermont outdoors!
