UVM Students

Each summer, Summer University welcomes UVM students to participate in summer academics and enjoy one of the best seasons in Vermont. We offer courses and programs to help students make progress on their degrees, focus on one demanding course at a time or take courses not offered during the academic year, all while experiencing nature's playground of the Burlington, Vermont area. Courses are also offered online and around the world in international travel programs for students who want to travel home or abroad for the summer.

Summer University

Short courses and intensives – gain 3 credits in one week, including international travel opportunities, leaving plenty of summer for recreation and employment.
Four semester choices; 2-week May Session, 5-week June Session, 5-week July Session and August Online.
Courses in UVM's areas of expertise, including Medicine and Health, Sciences, Education and Liberal Arts.
Proximity to the airport, Lake Champlain and the Green and Adirondack Mountains. Summer is one of the greatest seasons to enjoy Vermont outdoors!
