Program Dates: July 10 - 16, 2016

Description: Students explore basic and advanced engineering concepts, delve deep into sustainable engineering applications and techniques, and work hands-on on projects spanning energy, structural, electrical, mechanical, design and manufacturing engineering. The Engineering Institute is an 7-day summer program designed to introduce students to the college experience.

Non-credit: this course will not be transcripted by UVM, however the professor may grade you on your work.

Professor Bio:  Lecturer in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Vermont, Dr. Pearce earned a PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Vermont.  Her interest include unraveling the interactions of physical, biological and chemical processes in the environment using statistics, artificial neural networks, and process based models, as well as science and engineering education.
