Arts and English

Arts and literature enrich our lives in ways that are both tangible and ineffable. Simply put, we would not be where we are today without the creativity of those who came before us.

Tap into your own creativity and critical thinking with UVM’s summer courses and programs in the Arts and English. Whether you love music, visual arts, film, dance, theatre, or literature, we have something for you – from Latin Jazz to Rock and Roll and beyond.

What’s more, our summer courses provide the opportunity for hands-on learning with world-renowned faculty, such as Arturo O’Farrill, the director of Lincoln Center’s Afro-Latin Jazz Orchestra.

Courses are open to undergraduates (UVM and visiting), high school students, educators, and professionals.

Courses may be used to fulfill UVM’s Diversity and Fine Arts requirements.
