This engineering course offers hands-on work and classroom learning. Students will experience a comprehensive introduction to the engineering profession and design. Principles of computer-aided drafting/design; production of engineering drawings including: orthographic, auxiliary, section, pictorials and dimensioning, graphics and charts; applications in specific engineering disciplines.

Professor Victor Rossi

Victor Rossi has taught a series of Computer Aided Design & Computer Aided
Manufacturing (cad/cam) systems at the University of Vermont since 1985. By his
estimate, he has taught over 3000 people how to use CAD in this time period.
Victor’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial
Sciences from Colorado State University, complemented by a Certificate in Computer
Programming and a MBA from UVM. He is employed as an IT Systems Administrator at
the College of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences.

When not working, Victor enjoys Sailing, Skiing, the Arts and Music.
