Section Description

BIOL 002 will cover principles of organismal biology, nature of scientific inquiry, plant form and function, ecology, evolution, animal phylogeny illustrated by comparative anatomy and physiology, animal behavior and conservation biology.

Section Expectation

Lecture: MTWR 9:00am ? 12:45pm o Exams will be given during lecture each Thursday and will cover material that was covered on Monday - Wednesday of that week. Lab: 1:00pm ? 4:45pm either MW or TR, at your assigned time. Labs will reinforce the topics that were covered in lecture All readings are from chapters within the assigned text, Campbell Biology, ed. 9. ISBN-10: 0321558235

Evaluation

Grades will be based on three exams (the lowest grade will be dropped), a cumulative final exam, lab work, online homework assignments and pre-lecture assignments.
