Did you know that your high-school-aged son or daughter could potentially earn a semester or more of college credits before graduating from high school?
How it works:
- High school students can enroll in UVM courses, online or on campus during the academic year, including spring and summer courses.
- Students can take introductory courses in core areas of study such as Math, Science, English, Languages, and the Arts.
- Courses are available through UVM in a particular area of study that may not be available at your student’s high school.
- A UVM Continuing Education advisor teams with high school guidance counselors and students to ensure the right “fit” in terms of choosing courses that align with an overall plan.
- Courses are offered online, on campus and are transferable within UVM and to many other institutions.
Advantageous for high school students who are:
- Busy athletes whose schedule requires flexibility
- Highly motivated students interested in being challenged by college level academics
- Interested in traveling abroad during their college career
