EXPERIENCE COLLEGE THIS SUMMER

During the summer, high school students can take courses at UVM for college credit. Many entry-level courses are appropriate for high school students and the small class sizes are perfect for interacting with faculty.
Explore UVM
Each summer, high school students from around the world come to UVM to experience life as a student on a college campus. Participate in UVM’s Summer Academy during the month of July and study a specific academic area. Special courses offered in the summer include Business, Health, Environment or Theatre and the Arts. Students can choose to take a credit course in the mornings and spend the afternoon choosing from any number of exciting presentations and career specific panel discussions or tours. There are also opportunities for self-exploration with career analysis of who they are and what careers most align with their own personalities, strengths and interests.
Vermont high schools students are eligible for one course tuition free through Next Generation Funds through the State of Vermont (Dual Enrollment).
