Whether you’re an undergraduate, graduate student, high school student, or a working or retired professional, Summer U has a course for you. For most courses, Summer tuition is 30% less than academic-year tuition with many classes to choose from over three sessions starting in May, June, and July. Financial aid is now available for the summer.

How Summer Academy Helped Wren Tsao Prepare for College Life at UVM

All the changes that come with starting college were a little easier for Wren Tsao. They spent time on campus over the summer taking a neuroscience course through UVM’s Summer Academy which helped them prepare for college even before the fall semester started. As a participant in UVM’s Summer Enrichment Scholars Program, Tsao earned college credit, explored the campus, and experienced the rigors of academic life.

From Anthropology to Medicine, UVM Alum Returns for Post-Bacc Pre-Medical Program

Carter Shapiro ’20 was halfway through his undergraduate degree in anthropology at The University of Vermont when he started thinking about medical school. After graduation, he decided to apply to UVM’s Post-Baccalaureate Premedical Program. “I chose the post-bacc pre-med program at UVM because I was looking for a program where I could gain the educational requirements and support along the way in order to get into medical school,” he says.
