About EDML 200 SW3
This course uses recent research to help participants gain a more thorough knowledge and understanding of embedded literacy (reading, writing, listening and speaking) in their middle grades classrooms. If also offers skills and strategies to help participants teach content area more effectively through embedded literacy strategies. Participants also engage in technology activities, such as the digital story. This course utilizes the Vermont Middle Level Teaching Endorsement Standards in its design and implementation. Actual COURSE MEETING DATES will be June 24- June 28, 2013. Subsequent dates to be used for final project completion. Students must first enroll with the Vermont Middle Grades Collaborative.
