This course is a survey of British Literature from the earliest period to the Early Modern period, including such major authors as Chaucer, Shakespeare, Donne, Milton, and Swift among many others. Course is a great foundation forunderstqnding and appreciating this very important Literature. Historical contexts will receive much attention.
