About PA 395 OL2

Culturally Diverse Populations: Introduction to Issues of Culturally Aware Practice - This one credit course combines an overview of the literature with analysis of actual cases and examination of the personal practice to introduce participants to issues of diversity for presentation leaders. The instructor brings his professional experience as facilitator, trainer and faculty member to help students understand how issues of culture and social justice interact with any workshop or instructional curriculum through our pedagogy. Students will gain knowledge of resources for future learning and enrich their understanding of issues relating to culture, identity, power, and equity.
