About EDLP 380 Z4
This course will explore and examine gender issues in leadership, with a particular focus on women as leaders. We will study the experience of women as leaders, research on women as leaders; how gender may influence leader behaviors and performance assessment and other issues that emerge in the workplace. Students will consider their own role as an aspiring or practicing leader, and how gender may or may not be a factor worthy of consideration. The course is relevant for anyone who is in or is considering a leadership role in the non profit, educational, social service or for profit setting.

The course will meet in a 4 week meeting block from June 17 - July 12, 2013. June 17 - 23 there will be pre-readings. The course will meet on campus June 24 - 27 from 9:00 am - 4:45 pm; July 1 from 9:00 am - 4:45 pm; July 2 from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. July 3 - 12 students will be working on a project on their own
