-This course covers use of digital cameras, use of Photoshop as an editing tool, and use of inkjet printers-with an emphasis upon the tradition of fine printing in photographic history. -This course also covers the use of the color photographic image as means of expression for the student and within a discussion of current trends in contemporary art. -This course is suitable for majors in studio art as well as for individuals who are interested in understanding more about the medium of photography; therefore, it is an appropriate class for students from a diverse range of backgrounds or majors.
