Taught by the author of 4 books, including "Harry Potter and the Millennials," this course is designed to engage students in fascinating in-person discussions about current political happenings while helping them develop and enhance their understanding of the institutions and political processes in the US political system. Topics will include the role of the media, elections, political parties, public opinion, the Presidency, the Courts, Congress and more.
Students are expect to develop an understanding of the US political system and current political issues and events.
Students are evaluated based on a series of quizzes and exercises (as opposed to midterm exams), their contribution to class discussion, and a final exam.
