COURSE DESCRIPTION: Brimming with readings, warm-up exercises, workshops, prompts, and peer interaction, this online introduction to creative writing will challenge you to heighten your imagination, deepen your language skills (diction and syntax), and broaden your ability to make creative connections. In this course, you will garner appreciation for the process of writing in three genres: Poetry, Fiction, and Creative Nonfiction?while paying close attention to three essential elements: purpose, audience, and point of view.
