The UVM Department of Theatre presents Spring Awakening in the Royall Tyler Theatre, February 23-25 & March 2-5. Winner of eight Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Spring Awakening has emerged as a modern masterpiece and cautionary tale that explores the coming of age of young people in a repressed society.
Directed by Dept of Theatre chair Gregory Ramos, and featuring the talents of 16 UVM student actors, Spring Awakening is a theatrical spectacle. With soaring vocals and an unforgettable score by Duncan Sheik, Spring Awakening is an exhilarating fusion of stark social commentary, sizzling sexuality and uplifting rock and roll.

Evening performances of Spring Awakening are Thursday thru Saturday, February 23-25 and March 2–4 at 7:30PM. Matinee performances are Saturday, February 25 and Sunday, March 5 at 2PM. Regular box office hours are Tuesday thru Friday from 11AM to 4PM. Tickets for Adults are $28 and $24. Tickets for Seniors, UVM Faculty and Staff and Non UVM students are $25 and $21. Tickets for UVM students are $10, with a valid UVM ID card.
