- By Merelise Ametti
DO YOU HAVE A CHILD BETWEEN THE AGES OF 8 AND 13?
The Vermont Center for Children, Youth, and Families (UVM/FAHC) is conducting a study on emotion regulation in children, and we would like you and your child to participate! The study will take about 4-5 hours of your time for which we will compensate $100 (plus travel + parking expenses).
This can be divided up into two visits of 2 to 2.5 hours, if desired. We know your schedules are busy, and will do our best to find convenient times for your family, such as after school, evenings, or weekends.
What does the study involve?
Semi-structured interview with parent/guardian and child
Structured interview with parent/guardian
Online questionnaires for parent/guardian and child
Eye-tracking tasks and heart rate monitoring with child
Saliva sample for DNA from parent/guardian and child
