UVMtv is a closed circuit cable television station run by students for the students. The principles behind this station are to serve as a student forum to encourage and express opinions and ideas, to inform and educate, to set a new standard for freedom of expression and thought. The purpose of UVMtv is to promote cultural and community development throughout the university by establishing a common communication link between the students, administration, faculty, staff and the city of Burlington.
