Earn academic credit for your media work

UVM students can enroll in College Media Internship and earn course credit for work they do for The Vermont Cynic, WRUV-FM or UVMtv.

To make the plan as flexible as possible, students can enroll for 1, 2, 3 or 4 credit hours, and the course can be taken multiple times--for up to 12 credit hours. You'll attend weekly meetings with other members of the class and the media adviser, and you'll receive constant feedback on your work. Even better, your course of study will focus only on the kind of work you're already doing for the paper, the radio station or the TV station. The goal is simply to make you better at your job.

If you'd like to enroll in the course, simply search for CDAE 195: College Media Internship on the registrar's page. If you'd like more information about the course, contact adviser Chris Evans.
