  1. What kind of financial aid can I get as a graduate student?The University has several options designed to help graduate students finance their UVM education. Student Financial Services can provide detailed information on how to apply for and receive federal financial aid. Information on funding from the Graduate College.
  2. I'm considered a full-time grad student, why does my bill have a part-time comp fee on it? The Graduate College may consider you to be a full-time student but for billing and financial aid purposes, you are considered part-time when you are enrolled in less than 12 credits.

Work Study and Other UVM Employment

The Federal College Work Study Program is a need-based work program funded by the U.S. Department of Education. UVM Career Services assists eligible UVM students in finding work-study positions, as well as other employment.  Eligible students must accept their workstudy award each year prior to October 1st.
