Socially Responsible Investing Advisory Council
SRI Advisory Council Mission
The Socially Responsible Investing Advisory Council (the Council) supports the Vice President of Finance and Administration (VPFA) in fulfilling his/her responsibility as liaison to the Investment Subcommittee of the Board of Trustees. The Council will consider taking on issues based on ethical, moral, and socially responsible criteria using the University's Our Common Ground. The Council will research issues brought to their attention by students, faculty, or staff. Recommendations will be passed on to the VPFA in an advisory capacity only. These recommendations will focus on proxy voting and shareholder advocacy. All determinations of final actions will be made by the Investment Subcommittee of the Board of Trustees.
