CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. –Boston College used three different goal scorers to defeat the University of Vermont 3-0 on Friday night in women’s hockey action.
Allie Thunstrom, who leads the Eagles with seven goals, scored first with a minute and 20 seconds left in the first period. She then helped extend the lead less than a minute into the second period when she assisted on Ashley Motherwell’s second goal of the season.
Thunstrom then recorded her third point of the game with 10 minutes remaining in the game when she assisted on Blake Bolden’s goal to give the Eagles a 3-0 victory.
