2007-08 SEASON: Was one of Vermonts top middle distance runners this season Competed in six meets during the outdoor season Earned six top-10 finishes in seven races Ran the 1500m, 5000m and 3000m Steeplechase for the Catamounts Won the 5000m in the season opening meet at UNH, posting a time of 15:23.86 Earned second place finishes in the 1500m and 3000m Steeplechase in back-to-back meets at Middlebury and Dartmouth Posted a season-best time of 4:00.12 in the 1500m at the second UNH Invitational of the season, placed fourth overall Ran a season-best time of 9:16.81 to finish sixth overall in the 3000m Steeplechase at the 2008 America East Outdoor Track and Field Championships and scored for the Catamounts Finished 17th overall in the 1500m at the league meet Picked up points for UVM in the 3000m Steeplechase at the 2008 New England Outdoor Track and Field Championships with a seventh place finish to earn All-New England honors ... Participated in seven meets during the indoor season ... Qualified for New Englands in the one mile ... Member of DMR team that qualified for the New England Championships ... Recorded four top three finishes ... Captured first in the one mile and 3000m at the Vermont meet ... Placed third in the 3000m at Dartmouth on 2/2 with a 8:41.64 time ... Turned in a second performance in the one mile at Dartmouth on 2/16 with a 2:31.92 mark.
2006-07 SEASON: Competed in four meets ... Recorded five top-10 finishes in six races ... Placed second in the 1000m at the UVM Indoor Invitational ... Was third in the season opening race, the mile, at the Dartmouth Invitational.
BEFORE VERMONT: Competed on the cross country and track and field teams at Wissahickon High School ... Was the captain of the cross country team in 2005 ... Named to the all-league first-team in cross country and led Wissahickon to the AAA District Team Championship in 2005 ... Team placed third overall at the state championships ... Led the 4x800 relay team to second place in the state championships in indoor track ... 4x800 team took third place in the state championships during the outdoor season ... Team captured the league championship in outdoor track and field in 2006.
PERSONAL: Is the son of Stephen and Joanne Maisey ... Has an older brother Evan who attends Kutztown University ... Is undecided on his major.
