BURLINGTON, Vt. -- The University of Vermont men's basketball team will be featured on 'The Season,' a nationally televised show produced by ESPN that runs weekly on ESPN2.

The Catamounts will be featured in three episodes of the popular show with the first airing on ESPN2 on Tuesday, February 15th at 11:00pm (all times Eastern) with a replay on Wednesday, February 16th at 2:30am. The second show will be on ESPN2 on Tuesday, February 22nd at 11:30pm with a replay on Friday, February 25th at 1:30am. The final episode will be on later in March.

The show gives viewers an inside look at the Catamount student-athletes as well as coaches, the campus and community, students, facilities and fans. The program will capture the practices, classes, traditions, and people who make this Vermont basketball season on campus a special experience.

A crew began following the team on February 6th and will be with them until February 20th as Vermont plays four games, home versus Stony Brook and at Boston University, Albany and Nevada. They will rejoin the team in early March as UVM gets ready for the America East Men's Basketball Championship and will remain with them through the rest of the season.

Vermont is the third men's basketball program to be the subject on 'The Season' during the 2004-05 campaign joining Cincinnati and Wake Forest. In past years 'The Season' has followed the men's basketball programs at Oklahoma, Gonzaga, Wisconsin and Memphis, college football programs at Miami, Notre Dame, Army and Navy, and the Detroit Red Wings and Colorado Avalanche of the National Hockey League.
