BURLINGTON, Vt. - The University of Vermont athletic department announced its 2009-10 men’s basketball promotions schedule today.
Coming off an America East Regular Season Co-Championship, the 2009-10
campaign will feature many exciting game day promotions, giveaways, and
other events.
The season gets underway on Sunday, November 1 when men’s basketball
hosts Concordia at 1 p.m. There will be a postgame Catamount Kid’s
Conference presented by the Doubletree, where kid’s will get to ask their
favorite men’s basketball players questions and Doubletree will be
providing free chocolate cookies.
On Saturday, November 7 the Catamounts square-off against Saint Michael’s
at 1 p.m. It is UPS team poster day and the team will be signing autographs
after the game. Rally’s Round Up members can receive free admission to
the game by emailing Rallycatamount@uvm.edu (space is limited). The game is
part of a basketball doubleheader at Patrick as the women’s basketball
team hosts Franklin Pierce at 4:30 p.m.

Jan. 30 – TD Bank seat cushion giveaway and free photos with Rally

Catamount basketball fans can also look forward to a variety of in-game
promotions at every Vermont home game. They include: the Heritage Ford and
Toyota T-shirt toss, Leonardo’s pizza giveaway, Madhouse Munchies
Madness, TD Bank Trivia, Doubletree cookie giveaway, as well as a putting
contest presented by Vermont Indoor Golf for a $10,000 cash prize. Many
home games will feature a performance by the University of Vermont
cheerleaders and dance team as well.
