VERMONT MEN’S BASKETBALL
NOTEBOOK
The Vermont men's basketball team opens an eight-day,
five-game road trip on Sunday when it travels to face Rutgers (1-0, 0-0 Big
East) at 4 p.m. as part of the 2009 Legends Classic. The game marks the
first of two straight against Big East opponents, as it will also be the
first meeting in men’s basketball between the Cats and Scarlet Knights.
Vermont (1-1, 0-0 America East) will look to carry over the momentum from
its first victory of the season at Buffalo last Sunday. Full
