As a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the University of Vermont is responsible for ensuring that its various constituencies (including university personnel, student-athletes and representatives of athletics interests/boosters), are familiar with, and abide by, NCAA rules and regulations. Failure to exercise institutional control over the actions of these individuals could result in sanctions being imposed upon the University by the NCAA.
This website is designed to serve as an information resource regarding NCAA rules not only for the aforementioned constituencies, but also for prospective student-athletes who are considering the University of Vermont.
