BURLINGTON, Vt. - The University of Vermont athletic department has been able to secure an additional block of tickets for the men's hockey NCAA Regional game versus Yale on Friday (March 27) at 6:30 p.m. at Bridgeport Arena at Harbor Yard in Bridgeport, Conn.

Any fans wishing to purchase the three-game all session package can come in person to the UVM Athletic Ticket Office in Patrick Gymnasium on Wednesday (March 25) starting at 9 a.m. All tickets in this block will be sold as a three-game all session package good for both games Friday and the Regional Championship on Saturday the cost is $75. Tickets can also be ordered over the phone on Wednesday (802) 656-4410 or 1-866-4CAT-TIX. Tickets will only be available on Wednesday as the unsold tickets must be returned to the arena.

Any Victory Club members still interested in purchasing tickets are encouraged to contact the Victory Club office today or tomorrow at (802) 656-0956 or Victory.Club@uvm.edu.

To purchase individual session tickets contact the Bridgeport Arena at Harbor Yard box office at (203) 368-1000 or online through Ticketmaster.com.

The University of Vermont men's hockey team (20-11-5) earned a No. 3 seed for the 2009 NCAA Tournament and will face second-seeded Yale (24-7-2) in the opening round of the East Regional at Bridgeport Arena at Harbor Yard in Bridgeport, Conn., on Friday (March 20) at 6:30 p.m. The game will be televised on ESPNU and broadcast on WVMT-620 AM and on the Internet at SportsJuice.com.

The other half of the East Regional bracket has top-seed Michigan (29-11-0) meeting fourth-seeded Air Force (27-10-2) on Friday at 3 p.m. The winners of the Vermont-Yale and Michigan-Air Force match-ups will meet in the East Regional championship game on Saturday at 6:30 p.m.
