Prof. Renbing Shi, a Visiting Scholar in Sociology for the 2008-2009 year, visits us from the Institute of Population Research and Department of Sociology, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, in Wuhan, China. Prof. Shi is particularly interested in the implications of population aging for family structure and intergenerational relations in China and in the US.
