Honors Thesis
Writing an Honor's Thesis is an opportunity to receive credit for pursuing a topic of the student's own choice under the close supervision of a faculty member. It may give students an advantage getting into a graduate studies program, or may simply help them develop their research and writing skills. It certainly helps a student stand out from the crowd.
Sociology no longer offers departmental honors. Instead, students interested in writing a Sociology thesis need to write it as part of the CAS College Honors program.
