Orientation Leaders (more frequently referred to as OLs) are upper class student leaders who help new students make a successful and smooth transition into UVM by serving as resources and role models by providing help and advice to incoming students and their families during orientation sessions throughout the summer!

    Tip for First Years: Do not hesitate to sign up for different clubs! Showing up to one meeting does not mean you are committing yourself to that group for life. So feel free to jump from the Horticulture Club to the Bollywood dance club or anything in between until you find your niche.

    Tips for First Years: Never be afraid to talk to your professors. They love getting to know you, and getting to know them is a huge advantage for you. They could be your future advisors, thesis advisors, references on your resume, and even your friends. Take advantage of their knowledge and the fact that they are there for you!
