Project Description

Create a Jeopardy style presentation for New Faculty Orientation

Statement of the Problem to be Solved

CTL, Academic Computing, and the Libraries have the last hour of the last day of new faculty orientation to do their presentation. Given that faculty are ready to bolt, the NFO committee said "lets do a jeopardy" ... and so we're doing it.

The project is a one time event.

Benefits

  • Provides basic faculty orientation to computing, information, and technologies at UVM
  • Demonstrates an active participation learning session using a non-lecture approach.

Dependencies

This project is a 1 hour segment of a larger two day orientation event.

External dependencies include

  • funding for a USB memory device or Zair handheld
  • Faculty will have to pick this up during a Doctor is In session.
