I'm in a frenzy to find the recipe for an Asian Cucumber Salad from either
"Better Homes and Gardens" or "Good Housekeeping." It was in an issue
approximately four months ago and unfortunately, the issue was thrown away.
The ingredients included Rice Vinegar, Sesame Oil, Sugar and Cucumbers, but I
cannot remember what else and in what proportion. Please let me know if you
find this recipe, I would appreciate you sharing it here.

While this is not the recipe you requested, I suspect it is similar.
It certainly tasted good. I got the recipe from a Thai Cooking night
class.

THAI CUCUMBER SALAD

1 cucumber
1 lemon
2 tsp sugar
black pepper
wine vinegar to taste.

Peel cucumber. Cut in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds using a
teaspoon. Slice the cucumber thinly. Make a dressing with the juice of
one lemon, sugar, and freshly ground black pepper and wine vinegar to
taste.
Toss the cucumber slices in the dressing and garnish with a shallot
(spring onion), finely sliced, and a little chopped hot green chili
pepper.
