My husband was served this at Christmas and he enjoyed it so much to ask
for the recipe. Perhaps this recipe would taste good as a topping on
hamburgers?? Try and see.

 Sweet-Sour Red Cabbage

6 cups (1 med. head) shredded red cabbage
2 tart greet apples, peeled & chopped
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup vinegar
1 tsp. salt
Dash pepper

In medium saucepan, combine all ingredients. Cover and simmer about 1 hour,
stirring occasionally. Serves 5-6
**Note: For a more tart flavor, add 2 tbs. additional vinegar
