This is very easy and tasty.

Polish Sausage and Kraut

2 lbs. of Polish (smoked) sausage cut into about three inch pieces
1 package of sauerkraut, well drained about four times
1 onion diced 
half or whole head of cabbage
1 tbs. of black pepper
1 tbs. or more of caraway seeds
splash of Champagne, white wine, or just water (for moisture)

Put all ingredients into a crockpot in the morning and cook on low until dinner
time (about 6 to 8 hours). Serve with mashed potatoes and you have a very nice 
Polish meal.
