Kona Fisherman's Wife Pasta

1 lb    bow-tie pasta
1/2 tsp salt
30 fresh basil leaves or regular basil leaves wiped clean with a soft cloth
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, freshly grated
1 cup   macadamia nuts,  coarsely chopped
1/3 cup macadamia nuts, coarsely chopped
1/3 cup olive oil
1 Tbsp   garlic, chopped
2 Tbsp   butter
2 Tbsp   cream
1/4 cup shredded carrots
1/4 cup shredded cabbage

Cook pasta according to directions on package.
Heat oil and butter in wok. Add the garlic and vegetables. Cook about 1
minute. Add the pasta and  basil. Cook another minute. Add macnuts and
cheese. Toss or mix. Pour into bowl and ENJOY!
