I marinate beef tenderloin steaks in this and grill it. It's fabulous.

MM: Joan's Favorite Teriyaki Sauce 
---------- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.03

      Title: Joan's Favorite Teriyaki Sauce
 Categories: Sauces, Misc
      Yield: 2 Cups

  1 1/4 c  Brown sugar
      1 c  Soy sauce
      1 ts Fresh grated ginger
      1 cl Garlic crushed
      1 tb Seseme seed oil

  Mix all in screw top jar and shake well to dissolve
  sugar. Marinade steak or chicken overnight or use as a
  glaze or basting sauce when baking or barbecuing. Most
  delicious.
