Best Practices Exchange (BPE)
The Best Practices Exchange provides services, both professional
development and technical assistance, in the areas of : curriculum,
assessment, and professional development; needs assessment for school
and community development; educational leadership; and instructional
development; applications of technology, and financial
management.
The Best Practices Exchange builds supportive relationships among
professionals working in schools and social service organizations to
enhance their access to technical assistance and professional
development. Exchanges are designed in response to the needs
expressed by professionals in the field. The BPE staff teams up
individuals with a variety of needs, questions, experiences, and
examples of best practices. These Exchange Teams are non-credit
learning groups facilitated by UVM faculty, doctoral candidates, and
professionals in the field. Exchanges vary from one-hour to
multi-year engagements and are held locally, statewide, nationally,
and internationally.
