Welcome!

The University of Vermont Salsa and Swing Society (also known as SASS) is one of the hottest clubs on campus, offering social and competitive salsa and ballroom dance classes. In addition to teaching UVM students, we perform salsa and ballroom on campus and in the greater Burlington community. We also attend ballroom and salsa competitions in the United States and Canada. Despite the club's young age, the growing popularity of both salsa and ballroom dancing have made SASS the 4th largest club on campus. The salsa and ballroom teams are the largest they have ever been, and the club looks forward to providing dance opportunities for the UVM and Burlington community.

Students, bring an ID to get in FREE, community members, bring $5 per lesson or $10 for the night.

Beginner Social Classes:

• West Coast Swing every Thursday 8:00-9pm in the East Basketball Courts in Patrick Gym
• Salsa every Tuesday, 9:00-10:00pm in the East Basketball Courts in Patrick Gym
• Ballroom every Thursday 10:00-11:30pm in the Dance Studio in Patrick Gym

Intermediate Social Classes:

• Salsa every Tuesday, 10:00-11:30pm in the Dance Studio in Patrick Gym
• Ballroom every Thursday, 9:00-10:00pm in the East Basketball Courts in the Patrick Gym

In order to participate in any club sport, UVM students must fill out the Agreement to Participate Form. Join UVM SASS on the Lynx.
