  • Student Government Association (SGA)

    The University of Vermont Student Government Association, establishes the official representative voice of the undergraduate student body: to realize student power, to have a major role in the decision-making process at the University, and to promote the welfare of the academic, cultural, and social aspects of the University of Vermont Community, and, with the authority recognized and vested by the Board of Trustees and by this Constitution, we do hereby establish an association of governance.

  • Inter-Residence Association (IRA)

    The Inter-Residence Association (IRA) is the student organization representing students living within the residence halls at the University of Vermont. Our focus is derived from our values of promoting global citizenship, representing diverse perspectives and experiences, and creating socially just communities. IRA works with Hall Council and NRHH to improve the quality of life in the residence halls through advocating on behalf of the residents, providing leadership development and community service.
