Spring 2013: on sabbatical
After having earned her B.A. and M.A. in Spanish literature from the University of Oregon, Rachael joined the faculty of UVM in 2006 as a Lecturer in Spanish. Before coming to the University of Vermont she taught at the University of Oregon, Oregon State University and Willamette University. She has lived and worked in both rural and urban parts of Mexico and her academic interests focus on twenty-first century Mexican rural novelists.
