Marthe Russell joined the faculty at University of Vermont in Fall 2010. She teaches beginning and intermediate level courses which focus on preparing students to communicate effectively in a variety of contexts and situations. She has studied abroad in Salamanca, Spain and Vladivostok, Russia and taught several levels of Spanish language and foreign language methodology courses in Washington and Michigan. As a long-time learner of Spanish, as well as Japanese and Russian, Marthe is passionate about foreign language education and constantly strives to provide her students with interesting and engaging language and cultural practice.
