Applications are processed in order of the date received. Assignments are made approximately four weeks in advance of the date housing is requested. Every effort will be made to assign applicants to the type of apartment based on their order of preference indicated.
To apply for an apartment you must complete the Housing Application and return it to Apartments and Family Housing by email: familyhs@uvm.edu, or fax it to 802-654-1737. Current Students may pick up an application form at Apartments and Family Housing, 36 Catamount Lane, Colchester, Vermont 05446.
Proof of student status must be provided at the time you are offered an apartment .
If you are applying for housing for a family you must include proof of family status, and 50% custody verification for single parents to Apartments and Family Housing.
Upon written acceptance of an apartment a security deposit of $200.00 is required. This deposit is refundable without interest upon vacating the apartments.
Internet and cable service is provided by Comcast and is included in the rent. Other utilities are not included in the rent. New residents must arrange for gas, electricity, and phone services prior to moving in. Contact information is provided below:
