FAMILY AND COMMUNITY RESOURCES AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

  1. Civic Capacity: Build civic capacity by providing strategies & tools to effectively engage citizens in public work through a variety of leadership education programs.

  3. Parent Education: Provide parent education to help parents learn to work together around their childrens issues, to manage their hostility, to communicate more effectively, and to better meet their childrens needs.

    Parenting Skills Workshop Series including Active Parenting, Babysitting Safety, Roller Coasters; Helping Children Cope With Separation and Divorce, Strengthen Families Program and Parent Share Program.

  5. Family-based Financial Management: Financial management skills will be used to increase the financial well-being or fitness of individuals and families with programs.
  6. FTEs: Faculty 1.0

    Money Management Program including the Tangible Assets Program, Welfare Simulation Exercise, Money 2000.

  7. Community-based Economic Development: Programs will address the management of fiscal and community resources to enhance the ability of individuals, families and community leaders to make effective economic and business decisions.
