Ruthanne and Tigger
Ruthanne and Tigger (Tigger was originally named
Brianne but that name doesn't fit her.) joined our family on January 22 and
24, 2002, respectively. I got them from the Chittenden County Humane
Society. Ruthanne (the grey one) originally weighed 18 1/2 pounds,
now 16 1/2 pounds, and Tigger weighs 12 1/2 pounds. They
are both 2 years old.
They are such nice pets and we love them. Ruthanne has taken a special liking to Pete and Tigger is pretty friendly to us both. I think Ruthanne and Tigger were a little disappointed that I took them to the vets right after they came to live with us. They were both sick with colds and had to be put on antibiotics. After I took them to the vet, and gave them medicine for 10 days, they decided they liked Pete better than me.
