UVM Rescue has several types of membership. All current UVM undergraduates are eligible to apply for probationary status; the process is outlined in the "membership" area. Once completing the intial training program, they are considered Regular Members. Upon graduation, Regular Members transition to Alumni Member Status. Appointed and Elected memberships are granted by the squad in extenuating circumstances.
