After years of searching for the right person I finally found one. So let me introduce you to my wife to be, Cuixia Shi (pronounced Tway-shagh Surr like sure with out the e). We met in March 2001, our first date being a cross country ski at Catamount Family Farms.
I asked her to marry me on a cross country skiing trip at the top of the mountain, overlooking Green River State Wilderness area, it was a light heavy drizzle at the time. I figured who else would be up here with me and smiling to boot! The photo on the right was taken just a few feet from the place I asked her to marry me. Where are going to have our wedding ceremony (a mix of traditional Chinese Wedding and American wedding :) with family and friends at the Cambridge United Church, 3 pm on June 9, 2002. In China the number 6 means everything is cool (ok) and the number 9 means forever. Since I live at 369 Bryce Rd it will make it easy to remember :) The purpose of this web site is be able to share this information with you. We have completed a gift register at several places. I wish you would please sign our Address book :) We are going to Yellowstone National Park later in August for our honeymoon. Next year we are planning a visit to China so that I can meet my new in-laws! |
