Minor in Religion

The minor, which is in some ways a condensed version of the major, requires eighteen credits in religion, including the following:

Category A: introduction to religion

1 from REL 020, 021, 023, 026, 027, 028, 029, 080, 085, 086, 095 or 096

Category B: investigating traditions and cultures courses

1 from REL 021, 023, 026, 111, 114, 116, 124, 125, 128, 129, 130, 131, 132, 141, 145, 163, 167, 214, 224, 230 or 234

Category C: analyzing problems in religion courses

1 from REL 020, 029, 080, 085, 086, 103, 104, 107, 108, 109, 173, 180, 291 or 292

Category D: theories in religion

REL100

Category E: advanced seminars in religion

1 from REL 214, 224, 228, 230, 234, 240, 259, 291, 292, 297 or 298

At least 9 credits toward the Religion minor must be at the REL 100-level or above.
